Stefanie Rafelghem, BA, KPA

Stefanie is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia. In addition to her KPA certification, she has also taken professional courses with the Karen Pryor Academy, Shelter Playgroup Alliance, Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, and Behavior Vets. She first started working with dogs as a shelter volunteer at the Seattle Humane Society, where she later adopted her dog Latte and where she continues to volunteer in their Dog Exercise & Socialization department. Stefanie is an assistant trainer at Ahimsa for a variety of classes, including Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Elementary, Puppy Playtime, Puppy Camp, Basic & Intermediate Manners, and Growly Dog classes. She especially enjoys puppy and teen play, and she loves helping dogs build their confidence & social skills and helping people better understand and build connections with their dogs.
