Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). She is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants along with the Pet Professional Guild. She has taken many professional courses through IAABC along with other organizations including Behavior Works, Karen Pryor Academy, Shelter Playgroup Alliance, Fear Free and Fenzi Dog Sports Academy. She is always looking to expand her knowledge base and stay up to date on current scientific research in the fields of dog training, behavior, and positive reinforcement; finding practical applications for people to help make their relationships with their dogs stronger. In her spare time Erica volunteers with several animal rescue non-profits, as she has a passion for shelter animal welfare. She also manages an annual fundraiser for Chase Away K9 Cancer, a non-profit that raises money for canine cancer research and education. She loves connecting with dogs and their family members, doing her best to help make everyone’s training experience as positive and enjoyable as possible. Erica is a Puppy Camp trainer and assists with Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Elementary, Basic & Intermediate Manners, and Shy Dog classes.
