Dogs will take turns searching one at a time, so this is a great class for excitable, shy, and reactive dogs!

More about the Intro to K9 Nosework – Level 2 class:

Inspired by professional detection dogs, K9 Nosework is an outlet for companion dogs to engage their natural scenting instincts. In this second level, dogs and handlers will expand on the skills learned in the first level, while also introducing more challenges such as exterior and vehicle searches.

K9 Nosework is designed to allow all dogs the opportunity to search independently with individualized attention. Therefore, dogs will stay inside their cars and take turns searching for approximately 2-4 runs each. This setup makes it a great opportunity for reactive or overly excited dogs to learn a new skill in a less stimulating environment. For dogs that are reactive towards people, please inquire regarding private training.

Intro to K9 Nosework – Level 2 is a 5 lesson “series” class scheduled 1 day a week over a 5-week period (unless there are skip dates, e.g., for Holidays). Classes can’t be swapped or rescheduled because each class has a set begin and end date with the same dogs every week.
