While all of our trainers are good with people, Amber Hardin is actually a trained expert in human issues. Amber began her career as an expert at human conflict and mediation. While she was working in the Peace Corps as a health facilitator in Guatemala, the poor conditions and treatment of dogs changed her focus from people to dogs. She has since dedicated her time to working with dogs. Amber has also worked as a behavior trainer at the Seattle Animal Shelter where she evaluated and trained the difficult dogs as well as a lead trainer at Ahimsa. As a lead trainer at Ahimsa, Amber teaches many of our classes including Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy Elementary, Puppy Junior High, Canine Good Citizen, and Private Training lessons.
