Hello Ahimsa Community!
The well-being of you and your furry family members is always top of mind at Ahimsa.
We already have a strong and structured cleaning regimen in place because we work with puppies who have not completed all of their vaccines. All the toys and water bowls are collected at the end of each class and washed. Our floors are professionally cleaned and then disinfected with a virucide after evening classes – every single night.
In addition, we have added more frequent cleaning of frequently touched surfaces to our daily routine. We also have the advantage of having those big garage doors which we are keeping open to promote fresh air flow.
To ensure that we are prepared for all situations we put certain procedures in place:
We ask that staff and clients follow current CDC guidelines for quarantine, isolation, and precautions. If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in an Ahimsa staff member or client who has been in attendance at Ahimsa, our staff and clients will be informed and Ahimsa will follow the recommendation of Public Health Seattle and King County https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health.aspx to determine the length of the closure and other steps that should be taken to limit spread.
