Dog Training Classes in Seattle

Unlimited training! Current students in ongoing or series classes can drop into ongoing classes for free, on a space-available basis.

Two convenient class formats for multi-week classes:

Ongoing classes are open to new students, so you can start whenever you'd like with 4 or 6 reserved class sessions. Dogs work at their own pace and scheduling is flexible.
Series classes have a fixed start and end date - everyone starts and graduates at the same time. These 6-week classes have the most structure in terms of timing and instruction.

Puppy Elementary School(5-9 months) This class is meant to be taken between Puppy Kindergarten (2-5 months) and Puppy Jr. High. Can be done as a first step for puppies that are too old for Puppy Kindergarten.	Series	Manners, Socialization	$189

Basic Dog Manners - ADULT DOGS START HERE!* Get your dog training started! Come, stay, walking, problem solving, human skills etc.	Series	Manners	$149
Intermediate Dog Manners Build on the solid foundation from Basic Manners to teach your dog to pay attention in more places, with more behaviors.	Ongoing	Manners	$189
Advanced Dog Manners Work on off-leash reliability! For dogs with a solid foundation. Excellent to take before agility.	Ongoing	Manners	$189
Control Unleashed + BAT 1 & 2 (CUBAT) Take your dog's focus to the next level. This is a great preparation for dog sports, but also excellent for regular dogs that you want to have off leash.	Series	Focus, Sports, Relationship	$189
Backyard Sports & Games Training for the fun of it! Agility, dog dancing, nosework, and more to help you and your dog become a stronger team.	Ongoing	Fun, Sports, Relationship	$189
Growly Dog For "reactive" dogs who bark/lunge/growl at/bite other dogs out of fear, frustration, or aggression.	Series	Remedial Socialization	$239
BAT Clinic for Reactive Dogs For dogs who have completed Growly Dog class or private lessons with our trainers who need more chances to do BAT set-ups with dogs or people. Can be taken before or during Growly Dog 2.	Ongoing	Remedial Socialization	$199

Our puppy graduated today from Puppy socialization classes and we are excited to continue her training with Ahimsa. We have had an amazingly wonderful experience with the instructors and have watched Pippi blossom tremendously under their guidance.

We are really motivated to move forward with more training to build on the foundation she has received.

* Two exceptions to the Adult Dogs Start Here rule:

If your dog barks, growls, or is aggressive to people or dogs, your dog is not yet eligible for Basic Manners. Take our Growly Dog class (issues toward other dogs) or private training sessions (issues toward people and/or other dogs).
If you have experience using clicker training in classes and have studied the topics above before with this dog, please contact us about whether you can skip Basic Manners.
