• Age: 8 months or over
• 4-week class: 1 class per week, 1 hour
• Ability to swap classes: No rescheduling of classes
• Format: indoors/outdoors, limit of 8 dogs per class
• Prerequisite: Two classes at Ahimsa including Puppy Junior High or Intermediate Manners AND Instructor Approval

Because this class takes place partially outdoors it is offered seasonally when the weather is agreeable. Sessions are typically offered in the Spring and Summer (if you would like to be notified when the class is available you may sign up for the notification list below)

Dogs will spend short periods of time working within close distances and therefore should be friendly with other dogs.

More about the Public Manners class:

This class is designed for students who are looking to learn how to apply the skills they’ve learned in class to real world scenarios. Our first week of class we’ll brush up on our public manners skills like loose leash walking, settling on a mat, and polite greetings. From there, each week we’ll put those skills to the test and learn how to set our dogs up for success in the situations that real life throws at us.

Public Manners is a 4 lesson “series” class scheduled 1 day a week over a 4-week period (unless there are skip dates, e.g., for Holidays). Classes can’t be swapped or rescheduled because each class has a set begin and end date with the same dogs every week.
