Private Dog Behavior Consultations with Grisha Stewart, MA, CPDT-KA, CTP
"I never hesitate to refer clients to Ahimsa Dog Training. Grisha knows the science of training and she knows how to get it across to people and their dogs. I have worked side by side with Grisha on many projects, and I respect her as a person and as an educator."
- Terry Ryan, CPDT-KA, CTP, Author of "Coaching People to Train Their Dogs," "Outwitting Dogs," "The Bark Stops Here," and more.
"Grisha helped me understand some about the nature of the changes we have asked Roxy to make --- what she’s likely to learn quickly, what will take her a while, when and how Bill and I need to change. Having an intelligent shy working dog in our lives is different from what it was like with our other dogs, but I can wholeheartedly say that it’s good and interesting, and it means Bill, Roxy and I have a common bond in the true joy of learning. Thank you Grisha. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you."
Grisha is NOT taking new clients at this time, but Mireille Baumoel is currently booking sessions to work with serious dog behavior issues. Please click here!

About the Sessions:
Initial and follow-up behavior consultations with Grisha are $199 for sessions up to 90 minutes, to be paid in advance by credit card. You may also purchase a block of 5 sessions for $749 (save $250). Any unused sessions can be refunded within 6 months of purchase. Click here for our cancellation/change policy.
After you register for a session, you will complete a comprehensive history form online for Grisha to read before the session. That way, she can get right to work helping you and your dog have a better future, rather than spending the whole time learning about your dog's past. This saves you time and money. During the session, Grisha will ask you some additional questions during the first portion to get a complete picture of your dog's issue(s). After that, she will teach you how to use the most appropriate, modern, dog-friendly techniques, based on what is the best fit for your dog and your family. She will also give you a written follow-up email to review the topics covered during the session.
When you register, your confirmation email will also include login information, so that you can log in to change your schedule.
Location:
Sessions are at our training center in Ballard, at your home, or elsewhere in Seattle. To make the sessions more helpful to you and safer for her, Grisha strongly prefers to have the first behavior consultation or training session at the training center in Seattle. Please note location column on the pull-down calendar above. For off-site sessions, total travel time over 20 minutes (round trip from Ahimsa) will be subtracted from the session time. You will specify your session location on the questionnaire that you fill out after registering.
We also have a Growly Dog class in Seattle for aggression and reactivity to other dogs. If your dog is reactive to humans, you definitely need a private session with Grisha, rather than the class. Please call 206-364-4072 or email info@doggiezen.com to help you find the best training option for your dog.
We also offer in-home dog training sessions in Seattle with Carly Davis for basic skills training and 'regular' behavior problems (housetraining, digging, chewing, jumping, etc.).
