Mischief, Nutmeg, & Jennifer
Jennifer Schneider is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) and has been training dogs professionally as a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers since 1997. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, with an emphasis on animal learning and motivation.
Jennifer is certified by the American Kennel Club (AKC) as a canine good citizenship evaluator, and has written material published with many well-known sources. Jennifer has volunteered extensively with the Humane Society of King County and King County Animal Control.

Jennifer comes to Ahimsa Dog Training with a strong belief that you can teach any dog to be a well mannered companion and to respect the rules of your household, all using positive reinforcement and clicker training. She strives to improve the lives of both canines and humans alike. She works with all ages and breeds of dogs, but specializes in Terriers, rescue dogs, and what some term "difficult" breeds.
Jennifer instructs group obedience classes and provides private lessons in behavior counseling and obedience work through her business, Pick of the Litter Dog Training (South King County).
Jennifer resides in Auburn with her husband Dan, her two children, her two dogs Mischief (West Highland White Terrier) and Nutmeg (Cairn Terrier), and her four cats.
