Where Are Classes?

All dog play sessions and most dog training classes are held at our training facility at 902 NW 49th Street in Seattle (Ballard).

We also teach dog training classes in Redmond and Burien. [Seattle Directions] [Burien Directions] [Redmond Directions]

What to Expect in Class

Our dog training methods are dog-friendly and people-friendly, too! You can learn more about techniques used in Ahimsa Dog Training classes in person at a free Orientation session.

In all classes, we will teach you to train your dog using a marker signal ("clicker training") and give you a free clicker. Use of the actual box clicker with your dog is optional, as you can use your voice or a hand signal to mark your dog's correct behaviors.

Most of our classes also include a free front-attachment walking harness to help you enjoy your walks right away while you train your dog to walk on a flat collar. We understand that every dog-human pair is different, and we help you train your dog in the best way possible.

Child Policy

Well-mannered human "puppies" are encouraged to come to dog training classes and play sessions. Children 17 or under must be supervised by an adult.
