Barky Dog

Barky Dog sessions are part of the Dream Dog Program in Seattle. You can sign up for this seminar individually for $39 or sign up for a Dream Dog class and attend this session for free, if space is available.

If your playful, but barking dog won't focus on you long enough to keep quiet in regular dog training classes, this class is for you!  Our goal is to teach you how to keep your dog calm and quiet around other dogs, so that you can enjoy regular dog training classes.

Your dog will learn a cue for quiet (stop barking or don't start barking) but we'll also give you tools so that your dog can decide to not bark in the first place.

The main dog skill in dogs will learn from a Barky Dog session is to focus on their humans around other dogs.  As a handler, you will learn to get and keep focus from your dog using positive reinforcement.  We recommend that you plan on taking multiple sessions of Barky Dog, to practice being calm and quiet around other dogs.
