"Advanced Dog Manners" Dog Training Class in Seattle

The Advanced Dog Manners training class takes your dog's training to a high level.  Students will work through bigger distractions, more distance, and more advanced behaviors. We will also be working toward OFF LEASH reliability.  Basic Manners is the main pre-requisite, but if you haven't taken Intermediate Dog Manners, we recommend that you take that class first.  

Topics: Formal Heel, Name, Come, Targeting (nose to hand - very useful), Go Lie Down, Anti-Jump, Focus, Leave It, Tricks, off-leash reliability, and more.  Humans will also learn more advanced training techniques. This is excellent practice for tests like the Canine Good Citizen Test and the Delta Society therapy dog test. It's also a great place to work your competition obedience dog if you want to rehearse around distractions.

Advanced Dog Manners training classes are rolling admission, so you can pick a start date and join the class at any time. You can always log in later, to change the days of the week during your 6-week class. Students can also attend our special topics seminars, like Possession Aggression, Bravery Boost, and Barky Dog, during their 6-week class.

Advanced Manners is a prerequisite for some awesome fun classes, like Control Unleashed and Agility!

Please Note: Because we will be working off leash some of the time and thus dogs will be occasionally coming face-to-face, Shy dogs may need to have barriers up to keep other dogs from coming over. This class is not a good match for dogs with aggression issues.
