Our puppy classes allow for flexibility, because we know you've got a busy life already!

Classes are ongoing, so you can start right away. You can reserve more than one session per week to guarantee your dog a lot of socialization and training, drop into other days of the week (if there's room). If there's a date you can't make, you can log in after you register to change session dates during your 6-week class.

Topics: Socialization with people and dogs, problem prevention, problem solving (housetraining, biting, jumping, chewing) and foundations for training using positive methods (leash walking, name, come, targeting puppy nose to human hand, focus, leave it, sit, down, etc.).

Kindergarten Class types:

Baby Puppies, 2-3 months old, have their own class, though they *can* take the regular class if the baby class doesn't fit your schedule. Also appropriate for shy dogs. It's simple to log in to switch to a mainstream puppy class when your puppy gets older or braver. Emphasis is on socialization and potty training.

Small breed classes are for dogs who are expected to be at most 20 pounds at adult weight.

Large breed classes are for dogs who are expected to be at least 50 pounds at adult weight, and their 'allies' that welcome play with bigger dogs. This class includes the giant breeds, too. If you have a 4.5 month old lab, for example, or a 3 month old great dane, this section is the best choice.

When age is not specified, our kindergarten classes are for any puppies between 2 and 5 months old at their first class and finish by 6 months old. Older puppies should take Puppy Elementary School (for older puppies new to training or after Kindergarten) or Jr. High (for dogs who have the basics on sit, down, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, and come)

Our classrooms are professionally cleaned every night before puppy class. Puppy kindergarten classes are held as the first classes of the day so that the room has not had any adult dogs in it since cleaning. Baby puppy classes are scheduled before all other puppy classes so that the room is extra clean.

In addition to puppy class, consider enrolling in Puppy Day Camp for puppies 2-5 months old. Puppyhood only comes once!
