Ahimsa Dog Training

Better Manners Dog Training Class

Ahimsa Dog Training Seattle (Prerequisite: Basic Manners, Puppy Training & Socialization, or permission of instructor.)

This class in Seattle is designed for the following:

  • Dogs that have completed Basic Manners or who have trained their dog to an equivalent level. The dog is usually described as 'knowing' the basic commands but not listening out in public, with distractions.dogs that have taken Intermediate and/or Advanced Puppy and want to do a structured on-leash class.
  • Dogs that have completed Puppy Training & Socialization, have practiced enough to skip Basic Manners, but who cannot take Intermediate Puppy, for whatever reason;

If your dog is somewhat trained but you have never trained a dog before, Basic Manners is probably a better choice.  In this class, you will learn more exercises for practicing on and off-leash walking, coming when called, polite greetings, and the rest of the basic skills, along with an emergency down cue and a trick or two.

If your dog is vocal and may distract you and others in class, please consider the Barky Dog class.
