Directions to our Burien Dog Training Classes

Classes in Burien are held at Paws and Relax, a dog daycare in downtown Burien. (Please note that Ahimsa is not affiliated with Paws and Relax, we just rent space).

The address is 145 SW 153rd Street, Burien, but it is only accessible from the (small but paved) alley parallel to and just south of 153rd.

Please do not block the driveway across the alley or enter the facility more than 5 minutes before your class. You can park anywhere along the fence of the daycare. Parking may be tight, so come a bit early to make sure there's space.

Getting here by bus: Save the Planet! Lap dogs ride free, other dogs pay full fare (See Metro's animal policy.) You can use TripPlanner to find your bus route.

Directions From I-5 Southbound from Seattle:

Take the WA-518 exit toward I-5/Burien/Sea-Tac Airport until the end of that freeway.
At 1st Ave S, there are two left-hand turn lanes. Use the right-hand one to turn left.
Travel south on 1st Ave to 153rd st.
Go a few more feet and turn Right into the alley between 153rd and 154th. It is directly across from the Dragon Pearl Restaurant. You will see Paws and Relax at the end of the alley. There is no access to the alley other than from 1st Ave.

Southbound on 99: (from White Center, etc.)

Take the ramp onto WA-509 S (you'll go on the 1st ave bridge).
Take the WA-518 exit toward I-5/Burien/Sea-Tac Airport
Turn right off the exit at S 148th.
Turn left at 1st Ave S.
Travel south on 1st ave to 153rd st.
Go a few more feet and turn Right into the alley between 153rd and 154th. It is directly across from the Dragon Pearl Restaurant. You will see Paws and Relax at the end of the alley. There is no access to the alley other than from 1st Ave.

Directions From I-5 Northbound: (from Federal Way, Auburn, Tacoma, etc.)

Take Exit 154 to Burien exit on 518 West.
At 1st Ave S, there are two left-hand turn lanes. Use the right-hand one to turn left.
Follow 1st ave to the alley between 153rd and 154th.
Turn Right into the alley - directly across from the Dragon Pearl Restaurant. You will see Paws and Relax at the end of the alley. There is no access to the alley other than from 1st Ave.

Directions from 405 Southbound: (from Renton, Tukwila, etc.)

405 South turns into 518 West at I-5.
Follow the above directions from 518 West.

Northbound on 509: (from North Hill, Normandy Park, Des Moines, etc.)

Head North on 509 (1st Ave S) .
Turn Right into the alley - directly across from the Dragon Pearl Restaurant. You will see Paws and Relax at the end of the alley. There is no access to the alley other than from 1st Ave.
