Allow me to second the notion that fostering is GREAT! It helps to strengthen the socialization skills of your dog, and you get to practice all the great training techniques learned at Ahimsa on a new dog. If for some reason your foster match doesn't work out, Ginger works quickly to place the dog with someone else, so you need not worry about being stuck in a bad situation.
